As we are a family business everyone gets involved with processing
the orders!
We post out all orders second class post, if you wish to pay for
a quicker delivery or signed for please contact
us direct to arrange this. We are based in the UK and all goods
are sent via Royal Mail or by courier post. We cannot be held responsible
for any items lost in the post after it has left us. We do not refund
any returns postage should you change your mind about a product.
We do however refund if the mistake has been ours!!
All orders are sent out in strong plastic envelopes, these can
be re-used. Where possible we use re-cycled paper and packing. We
are investigating the possibility of re-cycled plastic envelopes.
We try to keep our postal charges as fair as possible, and would
like to point out that due to the sheer volume of orders its not
possible to weigh each one and apply single postage amounts.
It has been decided that we will no longer agree to instructing
the post office or courier to leave parcels in gardens, bins, play
houses etc we have experienced a number of parcels that 'have failed
to arrive' whilst we wish to accomodate our customers we feel we
can no longer afford to replace 'lost parcels' - we advise that
you arrange for a neighbour to take delivery, or have them delivered
to a family member or your work place if possible.
Lost or Late Parcels
Should you experience a parcel that appears to have taken longer
than expected, it could be that the postman has tried and failed
to deliver to you, the postie is supposed to leave you a card telling
you when and what time he tried and where your parcel is, of course
they sometimes forget. It's worth contacting us in the first instance
to be sure it has been despatched, or contacting your local sorting
office in case they are holding the parcel there. Parcels cannot
be traced under normal circumstances until it has been missing for
15 working days (yes we know they say 5-7 working days for delivery!!)
please note that we cannot be responsible if you request your order
left somewhere other than via the normal channels, if you wish us
to leave it by a dustbin/shed etc we can ask the postal service
to do this but please be aware it is done at your own risk. Please
remember if you ask for a certain delivery date we will do our best
to achieve this but the postal service is faliable. We cannot ask
for a re-delivery this must be done by you, and any additional costs
incurred at entirely down to yourselves.
If you fail to collect a parcel from the post office, even after
they have left cards and reminders they will be returned to us.
We will issue a refund minus the postage amount, if you wish to
have the order resent you must re-order vis the site and pay postage
again.
